Prepare for the Live Session
Before each week, click the link for the upcoming weeks schedule and go into the JOL Course.
Learn from the Teachings (15-20 minutes total)
- Watch or listen to Mingyur Rinpoche’s video teaching (5-10 minutes).
- Watch or read the short introduction from a Tergar guide (5-10 minutes).
- Take a few moments to reflect on the provided self-reflection questions.
Practice Meditation (15-30 minutes daily)
- Watch or listen to the guided meditation teaching by Mingyur Rinpoche (5-10 minutes).
- Practice a guided meditation daily (10-20 minutes).
- Reflect on your meditation experience using the self-reflection questions (5-10 minutes).
Apply Meditation in Daily Life
- Experiment with bringing awareness into your daily activities.
- Notice how meditation influences your thoughts, emotions, and interactions.
- Reflect on your experiences with the self-reflection questions.
This preparation helps you establish a consistent meditation practice, deepen your understanding, and bring meaningful insights to the live sessions. However, you are always encouraged to engage at your own pace—do what feels manageable and supportive for you!
