Awakening Wisdom

Impermanence and Transformation

COURSE OVERVIEW

We tend to view ourselves and phenomena as permanent and unchanging. With this grasping, we prevent ourselves from seeing our innate wisdom. The belief of permanence keeps us tangled in suffering since our expectations do not match the way things are. The principle of impermanence helps us to begin to see who we truly are.

In this course, you will explore various types of meditation targeted at examining how the “self” and phenomena are constantly changing. Additionally, you will learn how to apply the three principles of multiplicity, interdependence, and impermanence to transform negative emotions and suffering into wisdom.
